Learn English with Tola: A Senior Professional

I help people at various stages of life with their English language needs.

Some are university students who want to excel at their course assignments, others are senior professionals who want to feel more comfortable speaking with their international colleagues.

A case in point: one of my clients is a senior professional who is preparing for an interview with an international firm. Having interviewed for, and worked in the corporate environment, I understand the challenges she will face. But it’s quite a different ball game when you interview in a language that isn’t your mother tongue.

We have made a lot of progress through my style of empathy, patience and my ability to coach my students/clients. We went through several highly plausible questions that might be asked on the day, and worked to build her confidence in communicating her vast and impressive experience.

Her English was at B2 level and speaks with many pauses. We worked on this, while also introducing new vocabulary and phrasing into her arguments.

In the event that you are in a similar situation, and need some guidance interviewing for an important role, reach out to me via my details in the contact section.
